The Problem

When the homeowner first reached out, the exterior of his 1950s home was showing significant age. The existing lap siding was in rough shape and the original aluminum-frame windows were failing, prompting the decision to update the entire exterior.

The crew moved forward with installing new James Hardie 8.25" HardiePlank in Monterey Taupe around the exterior of the house. In the west and east gables, for an accent, we added James Hardie Hardie Shingle siding in Mountain Sage to provide a pop of color to the home.

The window installation began after tear-off of the old siding and finished up during the siding installation as we used James Hardie HardieTrim in Arctic White to frame the 15 new ProVia Aspect series white vinyl windows to tie the whole look together. Some punchlist items were required to be completed before the homeowner was satisfied with the project, which our team and crew handled promptly to complete. The project took four weeks to complete from open to final walkthrough after fully completing the job.
