James Hardie Siding Replacement & Window Replacement in Loveland, CO – Water Damaged Siding Upgrade

Project Summary

The Problem

Bill reached out to us because the siding on his Loveland home was showing signs of wear. He noticed that the existing exterior was taking on water and beginning to warp, which prompted him to look for a solution.

We began by removing the old siding to expose the wall structure. Because there was water already compromising the siding, the sheathing behind the original siding needed to be replaced with new OSB before any new siding went on the home. Our team then installed James Hardie 8.25-inch HardiePlank Lap Siding in Primed across the exterior. We used James Hardie HardieTrim to finish the edges and corners. The homeowners chose this route because they wanted to keep the existing color on their home that was not available in the ColorPlus line and opted to have their home painted after installation.

In addition to the siding work, we replaced 8 windows across the home using the ProVia Endure Series which has a vinyl interior that is customizable based on what the homeowner prefers. Bill decided to go for a white interior and white exterior to complement his home best. The project included all necessary flashing and preparation to ensure a tight seal around the new materials.

The project in total from job open to finish took a month to complete due to a shipping delay for one of the windows, but Bill was very happy with the result of his home!
