The Problem
Our Project Consultant Diego had actually been out to Maria's home on Poplar Avenue once before, a year earlier, to look at the roof. Nothing came of that visit at the time. Maria's basement flooded shortly after, and understandably, the roof got pushed to the back burner. Fast forward to this year: high winds tore a number of shingles loose, and with a small claim payout already coming through from Allstate, it was time to finally deal with the roof for real. Why It Needed Replacing
This roof was already about 30 years old, dating back to when the home was built in 1996, and the wind had knocked enough shingles off that patching wasn't a great long-term bet.
